Login and signup troubleshooting

For: anyone locked out of the Jiviq admin app, waiting on an email that never came, or stuck on the signup form.

Where do I log in?

The admin app lives at app.jiviq.com. The sign-in page is app.jiviq.com/login — if you visit app.jiviq.com while logged out, you land there automatically.

You can’t log in on jiviq.com itself — that’s the marketing site; its Login link at the top just sends you to app.jiviq.com. If a bookmark or a search result took you somewhere else, that’s the first thing to fix.

”Email or password is incorrect”

For security, we show this same message whether the password is wrong or no account exists under that email — so don’t assume your password is the problem.

  1. Try every email address you might have used. A work address versus a personal one is the most common cause. If a teammate added you to Jiviq, your login is under whichever address they invited.
  2. Watch for typos and stray spaces — a copy-pasted email often carries an invisible trailing space.
  3. Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page (see below).
  4. Not sure an account exists under an address? Try the signup page with it. If it already belongs to an account, you’ll see “You already have an account” with a sign-in and a reset-password shortcut.

If you see “Too many failed attempts”, wait a few minutes before trying again. If you see “This account has been disabled”, contact your account’s admin or support@jiviq.com.

One more case: if you started signup but never clicked the verification link, signing in shows “Please verify your email first.” Go back through the signup form with the same email and password — that sends you a fresh verification email.

I didn’t receive the password reset email

To request a reset: on the sign-in page, click Forgot password?, enter your email, and click Send reset link. The email has the subject “Reset your Jiviq password” and comes from support@jiviq.com.

If it hasn’t arrived:

  • Check your spam or promotions folder. Search all mail for “jiviq.com”.
  • Wait a few minutes. Delivery isn’t always instant. The confirmation screen has a Resend reset link button.
  • Confirm the address. The reset email only goes out when an account actually exists for the address you typed — a typo, or the wrong one of your addresses, produces silence, not an error. The screen says “if an account exists” for exactly this reason.
  • On a company mailbox, ask IT. Corporate filters sometimes quarantine automated mail before it reaches your inbox.

Reset links expire after a short while. If a link says it’s invalid or expired, just request a new one from the same Forgot password? screen.

I didn’t receive the invite email

When an owner or admin adds you to their team, you get an email with the subject “You’re invited to join [business name] on Jiviq”, sent from noreply@jiviq.com, with a Set Up My Account button that lets you set your password.

One thing to know: the invite link expires in 1 hour for security (the email says so too), so an invite opened the next morning will already be dead — that’s normal, and a resend fixes it.

If it hasn’t arrived (or it expired):

  • Check spam and promotions, and give it a few minutes — same as above.
  • Ask whoever invited you to re-send it. On their Members page, each member card has a mail icon (Resend invite).
  • Shortcut: the invite is a password-setup link, so Forgot password works too. Go to app.jiviq.com/login, click Forgot password?, and enter the exact email you were invited with. Setting a password that way activates your login just the same.

Signup says my email is invalid or already used

“That doesn’t look like a valid email address” — the form checks the shape of the address before anything else. Look for a missing @, a missing dot in the domain, or a stray space picked up while pasting.

“You already have an account” — one Jiviq account per email address. This screen is not an error; it’s telling you the way in:

  • Click Sign in if you know your password.
  • Click Reset password if you don’t.
  • If a teammate already added you to their team, your login exists — use the invite email or the reset flow above rather than signing up.
  • Signing up for a different business? Use a different email address.

If you signed up earlier but never verified your email, submitting the signup form again with the same email and password re-sends the verification email — that’s the intended way to get a fresh link.
